Will I notice a huge difference between a 6 speed spec b and 5 speed GT? I really would rather have the GT because I can get it in black and also get the all season tires. (I live in Buffalo and it snows) Or is it imperative that I get the spec B? I don't race nor do I take the car to the track allthough I am a car enthuasiast.

First off, Welcome to the legacyGT.ORG forums!

There is a list of differences between the regular 5-speed LGT and the Spec.B .

And I believe that the list has been written many times in other forums as well.

Control arms are aluminum on the Spec.B compared to steel on the LGT. (i think)
6-speed on the Spec.B compared to 5-speed on the LGT.
2-tone special type leather seats on the Spec.B compared to just 1 color leather seats on the LGT.
Navigation system comes with the Spec.B , but with the LGT, nav can only come with auto-trans.
er...
18inch wheels on the Spec.B compared to 17inch wheels on the LGT.

That is all I can think of.
For me, I really want a navigation system now, so I kind of regret not getting a Spec.B .

For the price difference, you can mod out the GT and make it faster without paying the Spec B price.

In terms of the suspension, don't forget the reason they're called the "SpecB" -> The Bilsteins. :)

Tommboy, don't let the lack of all season tires discourage you from the Spec B if it has the other equipment you want. The all season tires that come with the GT suck ass, and for any snow or wet weather duty they will need to go away anyhow.
