Has anyone used the Hydra on a LGT? I had this crazy idea about a twin turbo setup using twin MAFs on a custom intake manifold.

Where would you mount the turbos, foglight locations? It's really difficult to route the plumbing if you go with the "stock" locations.

hydra is map based
no need for 2 maf's

I wouldn't bother with the added cost of twin turbo. There is plenty of STi's running very well with minimal lag on one big turbo. Spend the extra $$ on a built engine like Cobbs 2.65ltr.

edit: Forgot...

Hydra is the bomb! Everytime I hear Phil speak about more features of it, it keeps amazing me!

If you are going to spend money then you may as well do a full swap. BTW have you thought of going with a twinscroll turbo?

Full swap to what?

In looking at the engine compartment, mounting space/location would be a major issue. More displacement and a bigger single turbo seems like the sensible choice here. Too bad Crawford dropped the ball, I really wanted an R4 block, but not badly enough to risk it after Bruce's experience with his STI.

Bruces car will be back on the road soon with a Cobb built engine. After Bruces car is done, throwing down some big #'s and seriously quick times I think alot of the people waiting to see what happens will be cobb engine customers
