These seats have no support for my torso. I have to do alot of bracing with the door and the wheel. Have any of you guys used the schroth harnessbelts? I need to stay put in my seat, but I dont want to get new seats just yet.

Someones STi I drove had it, I do not remember who though... It wasnt too bad although I probably wouldnt buy one. However the STi seats a a little more bolstered then the GT's so take my opinion for what it's worth.

They have the ASM technology. I dont want to end up in the foot rest in case I do hit something.

I'll agree they don't have much support laterally, but I don't have teh cash for a nice bucket right now...:( They're decent though, they got me from Houston to NJ without too much drama...:lol:

Yeah I was going to get the STI seats, but they suck too. Maybe I can get some EVO recaros. Those are nice. My friend owns a upholstery shop. Till then I think I will get the Schroth harness. Dont want to fall out my seat on the touge. :(

I've never heard of anyone doing it yet, you'd probably be the first. Not sure how effective it'd be, depends on how big he can make th bolsters...

Swap them for the specB seats........I love them.....so much nicer, the hold you in place so much better, offer a tad better back support.......good stuff :D

You probably can't bolster the seats, at least not the door-side since that's where the side airbag is located.
