How many miles u have on those tires? Looks like they shoulda been replaced 20k miles ago. My Toyos have like triple the tread depth of those and I barely passed inspection this year. But its Pennsylvania I think they're more strict than most. But seriously those things are Michael Clarke Duncan bald.

lol yeah they are kind of worn but still useable tread. I do drive close to 100 miles a day so it is expected.

They do look worn, I agree, but that's still more than usable, for summer tires, provided that you don't high-tail it in the rain too aggressively.
I drove for a while with summer tires on their wear-bars, and even then, they didn't behave too badly in the wet..... And from ih8vtec's pictures, those tires seem about the same as what I had, for at least two, if not three months.
What happened to make the sidewall peel away from the tread like that?

I am not sure the mileage cause i got them used and they were above the wear bars. I think it was too much camber, I did need to get an alignment, the air may have been low, and I found out today that my LCA bushings are cracked. Also at the shop I went to there was an outback with 50K that had the same issue.

Wow, it sounds like there's quite a number of variables to work with, here.... :(
