I am looking for a set of springs for my 09 legacy 2.5i. Any suggestions on what would be best and if anyone has a set for sale.

How low do you want to go? Is this for looks, race or both?

I had a set of Progress springs before i got coilovers, nice drop but a bit too soft. S-Techs are nice too, but not sure on spring rate. There are a few questions you need to answer before you buy anything.

How low do you wanna go?
I personally like my car at a 1 to 2 finger gap, looks great and keeps the sleeper effect. Part of the reason I went with coilovers cause i can customize my ride height more, but the progress height was really nice.

How much does ride quality matter?
If this matters a lot I would go with H-Techs, mild drop and good ride quality, there are others that have a good ride as well not sure of them off hand. The quality of your roads may play into that as well

What is your budget?
STi Pinks are really nice but pricey for a spring, and that is probably the only complaint i have heard about them. The drop is mild, they are a little stiffer, but a nice ride.

You may want to look into some struts as a replacement, sometimes you can find a sweet deal on both together. Lowering your car will premiturely wear out you struts so at least get a gameplan on new struts to replace them when they go, but you do have some time before that happens.

I am mostly concerned with the handling aspect. I want to get rid of some of the body roll in the corners, but I dont want it to be too low. I have heard that the S-Techs are a little soft for how much they lower the car, but not sure? Been looking at H&R sport and at Eibach Pro's. Both seem to lower the car about the same.

Either one of those two with the stock shocks would work fine.
