Any1 have/heard 1 of these in person?
I was 2nd in line @ a red light behind a late 40ish woman in a Fukus and the light turns green and she sits there for 3 or 4 seconds and I hit the horn,(friendly, hey the light's green that means go beep) and she sits there on the phone, right b4 the light turns yellow she finally goes and I barely get thru on a yellow. + other people that just cut me off and never signal, I think its pointless 2 use the stock horn so I believe I'll be upgrading soon 2 get their attention.
I think Allen, u have a custom horn, any1 else?
I think I'll be gettin this:

I don't like the high-pitched Hellas.

I do have an aftermarket horn, but it's just one from the local AutoZone (or the like, I don't remember where, exactly, I got it from - see below). :)

I simply shot for a low-note (since I wanted it to compliment the stocker high-note that I decided to retain), and went for as high of a dB rating as I could. I found one that was 120 dB.

It's got a nice, omnidirectional sound, and seems to alert other drivers decently well - judging by the few times that I've had to use it.

I think that this really depends on what you're shooting for, Mike.

The Hella SuperTones, for example, are extremely directional - they're like straight-line lasers in their effectiveness, and makes them good for things like highway use.

I think that if you're out to get attention - i.e. get the attention of that idiot in front of you - the airhorns may be the best way to go, if you don't mind the extra trouble for the install and if you can find space for the components. However, if you're just looking for a 5-minute bolt-on, something like what I'm using should do fine, too, and is also cheap. ;)
