any one here running them or know much about them? Quality of these springs? how is the ride quality/handling with these springs? If I get them, they will be paired with take off Spec.B bilsteins.

Reason I'm asking is there is a local person selling his take off Spec.B struts with progress springs (already assembled, tophats and all) for a pretty damn good deal. I just haven't been able to find much information on these springs and would like a little insight as to how they compare to others out there.

Basically I'm looking to increase handling, reduce body roll, get a slightly lower stance without having a bone jarring or overly stiff ride.

Progress springs are good, had a set on my previous car. It has the right mix for what you're looking for. A good ride and a good stance.

Thanks for the feedback. Most likely picking this set up this weekend. I'd feel bad NOT picking it up at this price actually :P

Wonder how the drop will differ between his 5MT and my 5EAT. I've read the 5EAT is a little heavier, so I guess it will just drop it a little more.

Did you get these from a guy in Richmond? I know him. His car stance looked great. For some reason mine doesn't......and I have H&R springs.....they lower a little bit more than Progress. :(

I was going to get them from a guy in RIC, but he ended up shipping them to Colorado two days before I was going to drive down and pick them up. :(

It's all good though, money talks, and this guy paid him a little more and right away. I'm going to do it the right way, and eventually gonna go with brand new Bilstein HDs/Pinks when the time comes.

You know you will be lower on your stock struts though. The Spec Bs sit a little higher because of the Bilsteins. I am actually thinking about getting some stock LGT ones.
