Anyone know of a place to get a pair of these cheap?
edit: I just want the housings. I don't need the projectors, light sockets, wiring, etc.

It's gonna be a bit hard to find someone having these laying around....

Jedi,
post up a link next time you see a pair. I only saw one set from a totaled 06 LGT in N.Y. about 2 months ago. They sold for a bit over $160 bucks for the pair.....I wish that I would have set my auction price higher because that was a good buy. they looked perfect condition. and I personally like the full chromish look of the 06.

I bet you could get someone to trade you...

I wish.
Nah. wouldn't be fair to the '06. mine show a good deal of "fogging" from almost 45k miles. wish I would have put RockBlocker film on my headlights from the beginning. if I ever get new lens that's something I'll surely do.

Has anyone retrofitted a D2S HID system in their headlights? I'm curious to know how that works out..

wow! $160/pair would be a price I would pay.
I'm running the Xtec 5K on my stock 05 projectors and they work great. I am still, however, having ballast problems with the drivers side. Xtec replaced the first set under warranty...hopefully they will do the same again.

I had problems with my initial sets as well, but they seem to be working fine now...

I had issues with my XenonFactory kit as well. One ballast wouldn't reliably fire. It took more than six months of going back and forth with them to get them to do an advance swap of the ballast instead of me sending the whole kit in. :Dunno:
