WTB: 4" exhaust silencer x 2

I'm going to be making a 1k mile drive as soon as our house sells, and would like to quiet down the Perrin setup on the LGT down for the trip. Might anyone have a pair of exhaust silencers? My exhaust tips are 4".

Perrin sells them for $50 apiece (http://www.perrinperformance.com/products/show/207), but I'd like to try something else before sending them $100.

Have you thought about having a shop weld in a resonator? I love them, and they're cheap.

^ The resonator should help, I agree. But I still think that it'll be decently loud enough, particularly given how loud the Perrin canisters are.

Even on my rather quiet system (Blitz Nur-Spec Touring canisters, with a rather huge Magnaflow resonator welded-in upstream), the noise control by inserting the silencer inserts is near night-and-day.

The Perrin comes with a resonator. I don't want to hack the plumbing up, and I did find a pair of new megan racing silencers which are coming via UPS. A .com guy sold them to me cheap.
