I am going to look at a 2005 LGT Limited this weekend. It has 69k miles on it. The asking price is $10,900. Is this deal to good to be true? Do you think there is something wrong with the car? And what should I look for when I go to look at the car? Is that considered high mileage? What kind of problems can possibly occur around this mileage? If anyone has carfax and wouldn't mind running the VIN for me, the VIN is 4S3BL676854220189 Thanks in advance it is greatly appreciated.
Sounds like a good deal, but Like any used car, Take the car to a trusted mechanic for a thorough inspection. In the sunlight, check the whole exterior for any difference in color changes/shininess/glitteryness.
Check under the hood for any signes of rust. And at your mechanic, check for any damages from underneath the car, check to see if it was properly maintained, possibly any modifications done?
If it is a dealer selling you, they should be able to provide a carfax FOR you.
Good luck!

It is a dealer but I just want to see the carfax before I go check it out so I don't waste my time if it has a bad report.
Well... There are 7 reports on Carfax for that VIN... Can mean a good or bad thing...
example... my VIN has 15 records!!! wtf? Anyways... never been in an accident or anything. Most likely just records of having service done at the dealership... But... I work on my own car...
Anybody have a can provide CARFAX?? hehe
My '05 has 52k miles on it - I don't drive it much. 69k isn't all that high in my not so humble opinion.
As has been advised, take it to a mechanic of your choice for a pre-purchase inspection.

sounds like a nice deal
Our cars don't hold their value very well.

Gesh, maybe I should have looked around. I am dropping 14k for a plain 06 Legacy. So IMO it sounds like a great deal. But if I were you, I would drive it in a non traffic area and listen for anything that does not sound like a boxer engine. Subarus have this thing for wheel bearings going out.
Our cars may not hold value but they sure do last a decade or two.
