helping a buddy and need some help

hey yall. scooby needs some help! ok my buddy has an 06 sti and needs a new clutch... im assuming the the overall esign is the same as our lgt's. has anybody ever replaced their clutch before? how hard is it? will i need any special tools or any tips about the hyd clutch? or does the sti even have one? this is mostly calling the spec b crowd bc the trans. is the same... any help would be greatly appreciated! thx!

I'm honestly not sure about similarities between the 6-speed and the 5, nor of STi-specific concerns. For that, I truly think, you're better off searching around on NASIOC or IWSTI, or i-Club.

^^^^ That was a great write-up. It looks like they did all the work from above, because they still had the bottom plastic cover/sheild still in place. It almost looked to easy.
