I have B13 legacy outback 2005 MY. Standard security system without immo.
After triggering a standard security system, I unlinked the battery.
After connecting the battery, I turned off security system by transmitter. After this car started to work with problem.
Engine work properly in position P, but when selector switch to position D - the engine speed drops to zero.
What should I do to return the vehicle to normal operation?

Does that mean the factory alarm armed itself after you reconnected the battery, thus creating a need to disarm it?

Yes.
At first - I have another security system. When factory alarm accidentally armed - I didn't realize it and opened the door by another transmitter from my second security system. So factory security alarm triggered. Then I just disconnected battery and went home to find factory transmitter. After reconnecting battery, factory security alarm sign blinked at control panel - I turned off it by factory transmitter. Then I tried to start engine and it started, but after second try. After turning "D" transmission position, engine speed drop almost to zero and I felt vibration.
Now I have disarmed factory system completely but still have decreasing of engine speed from 800 at "P" to 200-300 at "D" position.
Now I started to think it isn't security system problem, but if it something else it means i have very big coincidence.

Have you tried resetting it again? (disconnecting the battery)

Does your aftermarket alarm do remote start?

Try disconnecting where the alarm's RPM sensor wire attaches to the car. This is generally located on an injector wire at the injector. Make sure that wire didn't get pulled, thus unplugging an injector. I've seen that happen with alarms and it makes the car run like shiz. If that doesn't work, one way to know for sure is to completely disconnect the entire alarm from the vehicle. That's how you'll know for sure the aftermarket alarm isn't causing the problem. In other words, put the car's electronics back to stock. Then reset it again.
