Hello, I am a new owner to the legacy GT; 2005. Bright silver. I don't really like the way the dark engine compartment looks thru the scoop opening.

The new proposed picture #2 idea may have some possibilities...

This is mine. It looks better but it ain't cheap. Claims 2b better flowing than

the stock piece 2.

I think he's actually referring 2 these, but not 4 the grill, 4 the hood scoop opening:

However, I think these will inhibit airflow thus less coolin 4 turbo & intercooler,

so I wouldn't recommend 'em.

You can make a screen and fix it inside, but why would you want to restrict the air flow to the I/C?

Just leave it alone. The purpose of the hood scoop is to direct air across the intercooler, and you don't want to impede the airflow.

Put on a front mount and it wouldnt matter...:tup:
