Hey all,

Had an extremely rare opportunity to witness and video the unveiling the new 2011 Subaru STI. Yes, I too received that silly little invitation and couldn't wait to go. Check out the footage I shot for Subaru of America!

You saw it first with Wheelandtorque.com

Enjoy

^ Thanks for that little peek. :)

Looks better in the video, than it does in pictures. I wonder if it looks even better in person?

I'm definitely not one of the "yes heads" when it comes to this car - I still have my doubts and reservations...

Also, I was certainly a fan of the hatch/5-door body style on the STI, more than the current 4-door/sedan variant, but given how nice the vehicle looked in your video, I think that opinion may change, given the opportunity to see the car in-person. :)

Again, thanks!

I don't understand all the hype, and the wing comment. Is the current model year wingless?

The current model is a hatchback, so yes it's wingless, as compared to the previous models.

I honestly prefer wingless. Look passive, be aggressive. I think that's my new sig.

I like the new sedan STi. I thought I was never going to buy a new Subaru again, but the this one is acceptable enough to where there's a chance again. I was planning on just driving the current car into the ground and then finding the cleanest 09 Legacy SpecB I could and go from there.

My Lib will be going shortly and I am hoping to take delivery of a MY11 WRX STI Sedan in Sept 2010 if my dealership is correct. I like very much. All the creature comforts I currently have with the tuned by sti Liberty plus the widebody sedan I have been waiting for since I sold my 2006 WRX STI.
