I'd settle for a Spec B wagon with 6 speed, could always add the fender flares later to make it serious.

The 6sp is cool but the SI-Drive is pretty homosexual marketing...
Moonroof? Why?

Just read on a Subaru press release the SI will be on all Legacy GT models. Wonder if it will end up on WRX, STi and FXT too in a year or two?
I dont want to pass judgement on the SI just yet. It does sound abit corny but I am interested to see the low setting if it really does help mpg. If it does, this "could" be a cool thing.
Now they keep giving luxury GT's with leather and all that stuff...
Hows about they throw us a Legacy STi now :D

+1
I'll buy one in 2009. It'll be time to trade my spec.B in anyway... :p

WHo the hell buys a spec.b (the supposed "sporty" model) for mpg though? I'll just stick to my permanantly "sport - sharp" Legacy..
One thing I ponder though....what 6sp did it get? The IWSTi? The FSTi? Bueller?

Wonder if we can make a 6spd swap using 07 bits and -06 STi tranys
Here's another link to nifty stuff about the 2007 Spec B. Whoever asked for an STi Legacy, I think this may be it; take a look at the interior!

I wish they bumped the horsepower to match the STi and I'm pretty interested in seeing where they put this "SI Drive" knob on the console.

In one of the press release kits I was reading, they said it gets its own unique gears for its 6 speed and are not the same as the STi's... Will find out soon enough.

Yup. In one of the press releases (07_spec_B_draft_final 2.rtf), it states this:
The 6-speed transmission is tailored to suit the spec.B’s refined driving characteristics and features unique gear ratios and a smoother shifting operation than the version used in the WRX STI.
