i went out with some teammates tonight for dinner after our race (crew team), and some of the older guys were goin drinkin afterwards but needed us to bring back their cars. Since i know how to drive stick, i got to commandeer my bro's brand new Cooper S... man that thing is SWEET!

I haven't driven stick for over 2 years, and that was just learning in a parkin lot, so the first few intersections were kind of... rough... haha. The security guards at the post gate got a laugh out of me stalling like 4 times tho LOL. After a few tries tho i got the hang of it again and kept movin. I was really suprised at the response of the thing! Even down low it moved out quick, and i've ridden with him on some nice backroads and the S really pwns the corners.

Just one more instance of my old A4 getting put in it's place in terms of slowness. Anyway... i drove around the parking lot practicing starts and downshifts, etc.... so i got to have my fun. what a fun car that'd be! I'm pretty stoked to see what an LGT will do once i test drive/ get my hands on one! COOPER S FTW! good times....

If I gave a **** what others think, I'd never drive it, but it's so flippin fun to drive. I ran through traffic pretty quick the other day with a CBR1000RR on my bumper....he let me pick the holes and stayed so close he could probably touch the roll bars. When the road opened up, he nailed it and left me, but caught up to him a few lights later (more traffic). He finally turned off and gave me the peace sign :lol: My fiancee was like :rolleyes:
