I had a CEL problem for months. Kolb did everything but fix it. I mean, they gave me every excuse from "dirty gas", loose gas cap, they even replaced the whole wiring harness. When I got upset that they hadn't fixed the problem after about 10 tries they actually got angry with me. They tried to get me to take the car when I 1st bought it sooner than I wanted. Then they didn't even have it ready when I DID want it. Anyone else with bad experiences with Bill Kolb Jr Subaru please post here.

Edit: My CEL problem finally did get fixed after talking to some "higher-ups" at Kolb, but it was a disaster to get it done & I was never given a clear answer on what caused the problem in the 1st place

Well, after they stole the parts off my trade, never returned my phone calls and even fukked me after I got Subaru of america involved, I can only say that the sale itself was quick and painless

   The kolb nav pic was photochopped too. I spoke to the guy the farmed out the nav installs to. He told me it was a terrible fit & would not look even close to the way it looks in the pic. Hard to believe it could actually be worse than that.

So, I gotta add to this one. My car was brought there by the body shop after my accident for mechanical repairs (w/o me knowing). They didn't do the repairs correctly & I had to bring it back. They banged out my insurance company for another $6k & then decided to replace an O2 sensor under my extended warranty. Why, I don't know. I didn't think the O2 sensor was faulty since it worked fine before the accident & the accident itself couldn't possibly have caused the problem. They replaced it & then tried to charge me a $100 deductable for the warranty repair. I told them to go **** themselves & that it should've just been charged to the insurance claim. After a emails to SOA the $100 was waived & they're now being investigated by SOA for shady business practices. I don't expect much to come of it but at least I don't owe them anything & SOA is fully aware of how they operate now. (I got rid of that car shortly after & got a wagon.)
