& popped some halos in there while I had em open. The whole thing came out really nice I think. I got them from the body shop while they're fixing my car. Saved me the trouble of taking the bumper off & all that crap. Anyways, pics in the next posts.

I put extra silicone on them just to be safe. I didn't do it on my old headlights though & they never got any condesation in them (watch, this time they will even with the extra silicone, lol). I got a little sloppy with the silicone in some spots as you can see. Sorry some of the pics are blurry, old digicam. No chrome peeled off at all thank God. I used low adhesive painters tape. Gonna put some eyelids on them when I get the car back but I wanna make sure the halos & everything works ok 1st. I'd have to peel off the eyelids to bake them again if I have a problem (which I hopefully do not).

Anyways, comments or any questions you guys have fire away.

They look great! Looking forward to seeing them on your car. Any problems putting the halos in?

Thanks Jedi. Hopefully I'll have my car back by the next meet. This time I'm actually gonna come to one :p . It should be done in 2 weeks or so I'm guessin. The halos were a PITA honestly. I got them from RPM. They send you 3. I broke one right off the bat. They don't have much give to them & they're hard to get lined up right. You can't really squeeze them together much & they aren't exactly the size of the projector. They're a tiny bit wider. I'm a real uptight perfectionist so I was making myself nuts trying to get them exactly how I wanted. You definitely gotta get some quick setting epoxy. I got some that sets in 6 mins. Even with that I had to hold them in place for a good 10 mins to be sure they didn't pull off. There was alot of cursing involved in the process  . In the end they came out great I think.

Yeah. 1st, make sure you get some primer on it
2nd, take pics around 7:30-8pm so it's kinda dark out & you can't see all the dead spots.

Those things look awesome. Wut did you do to heat up the factory glue? Oven?

I've done 3 sets already, and I did them all with a heat gun. To me, the oven takes to long. The heat gun heats the glue up in seconds, just make sure you're wearing mechanix gloves.
