STI swap

I want an sti swap.

The LGT uses a VF40 turbo, correct? And the STI uses a VF39? It's obvious that the STI TMIC is larger, but does anyone have specifics? And the intake mani - I want that cast part.

Maybe I need to start a fund drive - the "John really needs to make more WHP" fund.

What are you looking for, I'm confused by your post.

If you are looking for what you need to do the STI swap, you need the following:

VF39 or any WRX style turbo
STI intake manifold w/ TGVs, or mod the STI manifold to work with the LGT TGVs
STI top mount
Brackets to mount intercooler
Turbo inlet pipe makes it easier, but is not required.
You will also need some misc. hoses and STI oil and coolant lines or you could modify the stock LGT ones.

You also need some sort of engine management(Utec, Accessport, ECUTEK). And since your in there you might as well put in a downpipe and up pipe.

I think that is it, factor in the price of a protune and it gets pretty expensive pretty fast. I am in the process of getting all the stuff together myself. Good luck.

Why not just do a TGV delete if you have the intake etc all off already?
