It depends on the Registrant. I wouldn't dare use anybody but good ol' NetSol for this very reason, at least for important, revenue-generating, critical business domains. I have like 5 domains. I never forget because they don't let me forget.

For the Root Servers to propagate DNS changes to all the World can take hours. Some ISPs get it before others. You may want to try manually clearing your DNS cache on your machines. If you use a proxy at work, you have to get your admin to to it (if the proxy is doing the resolution). Otherwise, you just have to wait a couple of hours.

That's because today's late DNS changes have already propogated to that site's DNS servers. A large percentage of our ISP's are not yet in that boat. It will take some time.

Yeah I do get alot of laughs on here too and I don't want that to stop, maybe get some of the members we dont really get along with for the most part but can be cool over all to come do some techincal advice too, like OCDetails to do a detaling FAQ or something.

Basicly if we had some tech stuff then more would come and the site would grow. Also you know that myself and Bu11dogg dont really like whineing about pointless **** like someone getting offended for a lame reason. For example when a thread is named Hot chicks and horses NWS, and someone complains cause they are posting Inter-Species Erotica on the site. That is a bit extream but you get the point.

lgt.com is for old men (30+) who have a bone stock legacy gt that they somehow convinced their wives to let them get and yet they cant figure out how to use nasioc for basic questions regarding their car....to me, lgt.com is for the complete noobs of the subaru scene, past maybe 5-10 members id venture to say that nobody on lgt.com has any idea what they are talking about related to their cars....really, how many threads can be related to clutch stink/5spd driving/different intakes after over 2years of the car being out in the us.....-5 points for lgt.com...and another -5 for pgt running it, and another -10 for tide.

And I think you're really showing your bitterness in your assessment of .com's member population as well as content. :(

There's absolutely no denying that there's quite a bit of the "noob postings" there, but that should be expected of *any* large, well-known community, as it's only logical that *anyone* who might have a problem would check-in there to see if there are any known DIY/simple resolutions. Sadly, that's rather unavoidable.

But look at the serious discussions of big-power, open-source tuning and datalog dissections, advanced interior modifications (carputer, countermeasures integration, infotainment, etc.) - we just don't have the population/popularity here, and we truly LACK those posts, and that's why new members, as well as those more experienced, will continue to flock to .com.

I hate to say it, but when I want serious information, my first stop is still .com.

I am not working right now. I took time off to be with my wife and son.

You could have my job, apply to join the Reserve Officer Training Corps and if accepted they will pay for your college and once done commision you as a Second Leiutenant int he US Army. You could have my job. :)

THe only reason my current job is 'not working' is because I have been deployed and in the field so much in the past few years that I have acrued a large amount of vacation days.
