This is "Jet" (named after the football team), our new puppy. He is here under the direction and care of my youngest, Kyle. That is unless it's 1,2,3,4 or 5am and Jet has to go out...again. Our 4 year old Lab Sandy is not really sure how happy about this she is yet, but so far she's letting Jet take over. An occasional growl puts him in place whe he goes too far.

It wil be good for your lab to not be the cetner of attention. We have two cats. They get jealous of each other but love each other. They would be sad if one or the other was gone.

and they look like one big happy family. If the new puppy is lucky, Sandy with swallow him whole instead of tearing him to shreds.

jedi - OMG bruddah! That's, like, half a zoo!

---

Effin - bro, the pair look just adorable. :)

I'm a dog lover - and I'm just dying to be able to own a doggie again in the very near future (I've been stuck in an apartment for the past 10 or so years - and now that we have our own house, well, little baby Anna is a little too young to have a puppy just yet.....).

No kidding! My wife wasn't allowed to have pets growing up and it looks like she's making up for it now

Funny thing is, I didn't want anything to do with our most recent pup, the Golden, but now I'm happy we got her- I love that dog. :)

Jedi, how did you get them all together like that?

With the magic of Photoshop :DI had to look really close to see the cropping. It really looks like they're all posed together somehow.

No way! They are too much work and you won't be able to focus on answering our questions...

^ I'm surprised I can simply type - given I can barely (and on occasions, I honestly CANNOT) make change for purchases at the local drug-store or grocery-store!

Minding a sleep(ing/less) baby is much tougher than I thought!

Add a new puppy to this equation, and I'd probably wind up in the hospital! :p

Well, congrats on the baby! Good luck with the whole sleep thing...been there, done that and it's more work than anyone imagines. Hopefully you're not doing it alone and have some good assistance. Otherwise you go schitso!

^ Thanks for the well-wishes and encouragement, bro! :D

Wifey's awesome, and, of course, our family members and friends have been nothing short of exemplary, too. Adding to the good-stuff in terms of childcare is an awesome nanny who literally "found us" through the reference of our next door neighbor, who attended school and trained with my wife. Anna's nanny, whom we share with her cousin, Nathan (currently just shy of 3 months old), has truly been a Godsend.

Ahh, the days of intermittent sleep and crying...

Crying in my case after weeks of sleep deprivation. My ex wasn't very big on the "I'll get up with him" thing. But looking back, I'd do it again, and again. You are lucky to have found the nanny!

I don't suppose you went through Terry for her? Oh and this one mad me laugh...at least Sandy doesn't want to eat him anymore.

Terry? I don't know. My father in law got her from somewhere in Deleware (sp?)

OK, we went to a breader in northern nj named Terry. Good people.

Good luck with your chocolate?

Mandy is cute!
