Wondering if everyone has gone satellite or free radio? Post em up and if satellite, which one and why?
I'll be the first... Sirius and strictly because of the "Stern Effect".

I'd really like to have XM, but I just can't give in to paying for radio....

Comedy Radio FTW!!!!
That's the one thing that would really push me to get satellite radio. Thing is, my commute is 25-30 minutes, so it's hard to justify.

I had to vote XM since that's what I have installed in my car. I got my XM receiver off auction for ~$100 that integrates with my Pioneer HU. The nice thing about that was the previous owner had already pre-paid 1 year of service, which I happily used up until last winter. Now that I work from home, I really can't justify paying for it.

Instead, I have started burning MP3 files to CDs that will play on the Pioneer. I was in the car for 9 hours last weekend on a trip, and had 6CDs with MP3s that gave me 2.1 days' worth of music to choose from.

The comedy channels are nice, especially on really boring trips.

I'm not going to pay a subscription to listen to radio. There are a couple of FM stations, plus NPR on AM, which I listen to. Otherwise it's cds.

I had XM in my A6. LOVED IT. Why that over Sirrus? Baseball.

That's the only reason.

I will have it in the OB when I have enough time. Wait. Time? What's that...
