A little project me, NALegacy, and a friend decided to try today, fixing my lip, which had broken in half MONTHS ago. We all had zero experience with fiberglass (n00bz) but here goes...

Freshly fiberglassed together using eleventy billions times more hardener than instructed FTW! (Thanks PGT). Set in less than 15 minutes..

Semi-flat black. Good as new.

All in all it was a great learning experience for us all, and after alot of cursing, it's done. It's not perfect, but in more than acceptable condition to put on my car. fiberglass n00bz FTW! It's goin' on the car tomorrow, gonna let it dry more overnight. Installed pics soon..

did the local autoparts store run out of fg cloth man??? one piece?? Uh, no? I used only one layer in the back and one strip in the front, on top (where it sits against the bumper). It seems strong enough, I have handled it and it doesn't look like it's gonna break any time soon.

There are 4 or 5 three inch long strips underneath all that resin....
That resin set before we were even done putting the strips down on the lip.
Too bad I had to leave, but it looks good daniel...

Full frontal.

Sideboob.

Semi 3/4.

I'm thinking it might be a little too flat. Might have to go over it with some satin black...
