How about we keep the titles a little descriptive so that people know what you're talking about?

I'm going to go ahead and make this one a little clearer for you ;)

What are you looking for. The stock pads on my GT are pretty good.

Well, I'm getting bobcats for the front, but I haven't heard of any fitment (aftermarket) for the rears on an XT.

Your brakes are smaller right? Do you know if they are 2.5i brake sizing? If they are, those are WRX pad sizes. Dont think this is any help..but it was worth a shot.

I dont get why they would give a heavier car smaller brakes. The WRX pads are worth a shot.

I don't know why either- it really makes no sense. I've heard that the 2.5i has the WRX brakes, but I'm not sure if the XT does.

You guys are just mad because you're in Houston. I was born and raised there for 20 yrs. Didn't know what winding road was till I moved out west

if you haven't gotten them yet, what are the specs on the rear brakes for you?

jedimaster

The specs? I don't kow and that's the problem- if they are, indeed, just the WRX brakes, then there are options that will bolt on.

they are the same size but the wrx pads won't fit without too much grinding and a ****ty fit. i did that to my 2.5i last year and right now the rear brakes do not even work.
