I was talking with Effin just givign him a smart ass warning about his avitar cause it had a web address on it and that PGT may try to make him change it. I don't think that he will nor do I want him to I just would like them to not be so partial, ban all use of web addresses or none. I still don't get why they feel so threatend by this site, they are gonna try and hide it but where does everyone head after a ban? Here and they relize that it is better here so they stay.

You're probably right. I've never been banned, so I don't know if they prevent log-ins or just prevent posting, but you can definitely view posts as a guest/non-member.

theres a couple types of bans.

the ban i had in december i couldnt do anything. the only screen i could see was the "banned" screen: "You have been banned for the following reason:" you cant read posts, you cant view your User CP, you cant do anything. they also take away your avatar and they give you a nice title that says Banned.

the ban i have now allows me to lurk but doesnt allow me to post or change anything in my User CP. i still have my avatar and it doesnt even say Banned in my title.
