Need help on compatible parts [Archive]

Once again I need to make use of the vast amount of hard-earned knowledge floating around on these forums :)
Down here in Africa, it is difficult to determine what exactly we can or not use for the Legacy GT mods, and I need to know what is compatible/same/can be used from which WRX models. :confused:

As you know I've been having difficulty in sourcing any parts for mods due to the "non-USDM" issue, and even for suspension stuff from Europe, they only quote for WRX/STi stuff. I need to know what of these will fit on the Legacy GT. I'm looking at lowering springs, struts etc. to start off with.

Struts and springs will not work from the Imprezas...they have a different suspension setup in the rear.

what setup is the 2.0T? Is it the same setup as the WRX over there by any chance? Or are these the twinscrolls? Regardless, I'm sure the downpipes and up-pipes MIGHT be compatible...but don't take my word for it. The best way would be to find a local WRX owner and compare parts...

I will have to do that. I've joined the Subaru Owners Club of South Africa (SOCSA) and will do the comparison in due course. All I currently know is that it is an "EJ20" motor, which is very common, but layout of the components and the pipes are bound to be different . I do not know whether it is a "twin scroll" Turbo or not.

The setup for all 2.0L Legacy GTs are twinscroll IIRC.
