Yay! Spend wisely.
 That's awesome. Anything for your 400hp LGT? :)
Nope. What else does it need? :)
Honestly I don't drive it enough to justify spending anything else on it. I've got suspension on my mind, but that's futurethink.

Have you done anything to the suspension yet to keep the backend from sagging on takeoffs?

Nope, and I don't launch the car. I may take it to the track & see what it'll do down here at 900 ft ASL.

The LGT is my daily driver. I work from home, and I pretty much only drive to/from the airport or to run an errand around town. A tank of fuel can last me a month or more...

It would be a good idea, it keep your tires wearing evenly.

I called my dealership and ask what type of oil they use because its time for me to get an oil change. I want to try and do it on my own and they said they use Penzoil synthetic...

I think Subaru is suggesting all 2.5l turbo motors to put in synthetic. I put regular dino in my old '05 STi and my '08.

So far the oil of choice is Shell's Rotella T Synthetic 5W-40

Yup, the "sinus infection" is infecting a lot of people here. It's actual a bad flu that's going around, causing sinus infections. Started feeling ill at the beginning, then an ear ache, and then teh "Pink Eye". It could take up to 3 weeks for this damn thing to clear up.

So, I've been doing some general maintainance on my BMW 325i, which I've been restoring for the past year. Went to change the tranny filter and fuild last night, and guess what I saw. Engine oil the tranny!?!?! The last dumnf**k who owned this car put engine oil in the tranny instead of ATF. WTF?!?! I was even more suprised that the tranny has held up this long.
After replacing the filter and filling her up with the recommended ATF, the tranny shifted sooo smooth. Now I'll have to drive it for a week to work in the new ATF in, then drain it again in order to cycle out the rest of the engine oil.:(

Oh yes, I will never depart from my LGT. The 2001 BMW is my fixer upper toy since I got it for dirt cheap. I bought it last year with 230k miles for $1,500, and needed some major TLC. The motor itself is in great condition along with the body of the car, but I've had to replace/fix several items. Such as...
Catalytic converters
Tune up - plugs & belts
Radiator + hoeses
3 window regulators + 1 window motor.
LCA bushings
Brake pads
Valve cover & oil pan gaskets
Replaced ALL the fuilds
The last owner didn't know how to fix them nor did he want to spend the price to get them fixed. So, I gladly took it off his hands. It's been a fun project car to work on, and now it runs great.

5 gear automatic. It's taken me about a year now to get it back to into shape, and it's just a hobby of mine to work on cars. Hopefully I can resell it for $4,000 and make a little profit. :)

BMW update: Replaced all 4 brake rotors, pads & fluids this weekend. The rotors on the car have never been replace after 245k miles. There was a good .5 mm lip on the outside of all 4 rotors.
Next: Replacing all 4 shocks/struts next month. Then the car will be complete and ready for sale. :)
Last week in Reno was an absolute blast!
