My husband just bought me a boost gauge and I have no clue where to put it. Any ideas?? I don't want to drill holes or do anything permanent to my dash so that pretty much just leaves me double sided tape

3M Automotive Trim/Mo(u)lding tape should work well, as long as the base of the gauge's mounting hardware has enough surface area (even the typical standard-length gauge-cup bases of AutoMeter gauges is plenty enough, provided that you take into consideration their scalloped nature, and double-thickness the tape) and your mounting preference allows for enough contact-area (i.e. not, say, on the corner of the steering column). This product typically comes in "grey," but I've heard that both white and black are available now, too.
This tape is the kind of stuff that the OEM/factory uses to hold your exterior badges and aero/molding trim-work onto the car, on the outside of the vehicle, through all kinds of weather. :) It'll work fantastically in this application, as long as what you're asking of it is reasonable.
Alternatively, you can try 3M Dual-Lock or RadioShack's 64-2360 Hi-Temp/Hi-Strength Superlock Fasteners. Both of these are kin to Velcro, but with higher-strength adhesives that makes them ideal for in-cabin use, due to the high temperatures seen from our greenhouse, during sunny days.
The RadioShack Superlock Fasteners claim to be rated for temperatures up to 200 degrees F., and are a favorite among the speed-detection countermeasures hobbyist group for problematic mountings of radar detectors.
Although I know that the first product that I mentioned, the 3M Automotive Trim/Mo(u)lding tape will not leave a residue on our dashboard plastic, I unfortunately do -NOT- know if the other two products that I cited will.
With any of these adhesives, be sure that you properly prep the surface. Pre-clean with a lint-free cloth, and then prep the area with an isopropyl ("rubbing") alcohol wipe-down and air-dry (or dry with a lint-free cloth). Apply the adhesive only when the dash and componentry are both within the acceptable "initial application" temperature range as-listed on the packaging, to help promote best-bonding.

Do you have a little cubby hole above the radio, or the Nav system? If you have the Nav then what TSI said.

^ +1.
I love my Cubbypod.
I'm tempted to get a second-gen model of the two-gauge/angled piece, as it will allow fitment (read: door closure) of my AEM UEGO wideband w/o bezel modification....
I keep holding-off as I'm planning to, when funds allow, move the gauge up onto the dash, adjacent to my boost and EGT gauges for a more concise "at a glance" view, and incorporate maybe either an AutoMeter D-PIC or Level 2 DPSS (should be easy, I hope, since I've already got the pinout tapped, for my TXS Knock/Shift light - otherwise, the install can be somewhat tedious) there, with my voltmeter. I can then close the door on either of these two gauges, without really imparing my overall monitoring.
Unfortunately, for SubieChik, unless she was willing to sacrifice her nav, this wouldn't be a possibility for her. :(

Hell no.....no sacrificing nav. It is not a necessity when car shopping but it is definately nice when you have it.

AVO pod or something of the like might work. I need to get a boost and EGT gauge...one of these days...

FarmerJohn on .com made his own a-pillar mount. It took some fab work, but looks good, and clean. Other than that you have the AVO pod, which does stick out a bit and rattle, or the steering column mount that some have used...but I'm not sure where that can be bought.

^ I think the "Mouse Ears" - the steering column mount - is from Perrin..... ?

I wish autometer made the bevel for the LGT like they do for the Impreza.

I'm honestly not a fan of placing gauges so low....
I got one of those for my last DSM and had my boost and EGT there, but I quickly discovered that I couldn't see the gauges very well when I was driving.
Had I stayed in that vehicle long enough (it was my last car before the LGT), I would have likely re-located some ancillary gauges to that location - i.e. voltmeter - or have invested in gauges with clear full-dial warning lights so that such warnings would be visible without the gauge being in my normal field-of-view.
