Default Issue in acceleration

Ok Ive had an on going issue for a while now its not to the point where its extremely bad but is def a concern. 2005 Legacy GT 5speed, Im going to try my best in an explanation. It seams as tho upon acceleration it is very hesitant when cold. Example = Leaving work after car sits all day get out on the open road and hesitation upon going through the gears to get to 50mph. It doesn't really do this when warm but it does seam as tho some days the car is faster than other days. I just always assumed air temperature. It also feels as tho there is a lot of clutch chatter as going through town in 3rd gear for example the car will chatter back and forth. After a while the clutch will start to feel different and ive gotten used to it at this point and when I feel the difference I will push the clutch all the way in and floor it till bout 5500rpm and the clutch will feel as tho it goes further to the floor and there after will feel fine again. I myself am leaning towards vacuum leak or the springs in the clutch disk have weakin. Im not sure how exactly to check for vacuum leak on this car and the clutch is less than a year old, clutch disk, plate, flywheel, slave cylinder and line all genuine subaru. Any help or direction is greatly appreciated, and thank you for taking the time to read this.
