Default I did a bad thing...

I bought my '91 Integra GS back and just ordered a new motor for it.

Can't wait to have my baby back!

I had a '99 GSR, best car I ever had.

Still think about it over 10 yrs later.

^My GSR was stable even @ 140 mph.

My LGT has a slight steering wheel shake beginning @ 65 mph.

I never replaced anything on the GSR besides plugs.

In the LGT I replaced an injector, more bulbs than I care 2 count, horrible

paint, wheels are peeling, unsupportive seats, weak trans, etc.

Just doesn't feel like a solid, stable car like my Integra was.

Maybe the Integra was an exception 2 the rule re: build quality, etc. and

vice versa 4 the LGT.

Just in comparison, these 2 individual cars, the LGT falls well short.

What I miss about my '91 is how low to the ground it is because it's from before they started requiring a higher center on the car for safety in collisions. And the fact that it's so stinkin' light. I'm screwed in a bad wreck, but it's such an awesome daily! And same thing for me, I never really did anything except put gas in it and the seats were comfortable and more supportive. Cornering on that car, stock, was better than my LGT with coils. And, yes, it was much better at speed than the Legacy.

But! It's underpowered, 2WD, only 2-doors, has manual climate control, is noisier inside, has small brakes, is more attractive to cops, doesn't get respect, and has a pretty small back seat. You can't have it all.

I agree with the '91 Integra being a good car. Still remember racing my buddies Integra at the local autocrosses, and it was a blast to drive. I believe he still races and as far as I know, he only rebuild the motor once to give it more juice. Last time I saw it, about 6 yrs ago, it was all modded out for racing....full roll cage, gutted interior, complete suspenion...etc.

Good luck with the new motor and post pics when you get her.

I really love driving those things - they're like little go-carts.
