Default iPod cable from factory radio?

I want to put an aux cable in my LGT and would like to just have a cord running out the back to hook my iPhone into. has anyone done it and any tips on how to do it?

I did this walkthrough on .com using an FM Modulator. It works great for what I need.

Yeah, those hard-wired FM Modulators do work pretty well. It's the wireless ones that are crappy. There are threads somewhere on the .com about soldering an aux onto the board if you have the know-how. Ultimately, I went the route of just changing to aftermarket.

I thought about soldering the aux to the board, then I thought, if I phuck-up on the soldering I could phuck-up my whole radio. Some things are better off not touched, IMO. This is why I went with the FM Modulator, plug & play.
