I was planning on painting my lip like yours Kagen, just wasn't sure if I could get the lines straight enough.

Yesterday I saw my neighbors across the street painting his rims. They were sanding them down, spraying primer, and then sprayed flat black to them. Took them almost all day to do 4 wheels. Walked over there to check it out and asked them if they thought about using Plasti-Dip. They replied, "what's Plasti-Dip", then I had them come over to look at my front end. They looked at me and said, "Why didn't the F*ck you come over earlier and tell us this?"

That's the beauty of taping it off. You can re-do the tape many times if you need to. And just a reminder that I used spray-on truck bed liner instead of plasti dip to avoid rock chips and get a textured finish. My grill is now done in the same stuff and it all looks great a year after having been done.

STEye - Most hardware stores carries it.

Kagen - That's cool, pics? So far the plasti-dip is holding up well for me, it's been over a year since I've done the grill and lip. No signs of chipping either. Truck liner is good stuff, I coated my wheelbarrow one year with it and it held up very good.

Yes it does, thank God I only do a deep cleaning once a year. I'll do a quick wax before winter sets in, but not a deep clean. That chit takes all day to do.
