Default Why is it....

Why is it that everytime I finish paying off a car, chit always breaks down. Just finish paying off my car 2 months ago and since then I had to replace LCA bushings, rebuild brakes, pads, door handle broke 2 weeks ago, and now my damn throw-out bearing seized last night (2nd time this happen). At this point it's cheaper to make payments on a new car now.

The car is six years old now, but I understand what your saying. That is quite a few things to irritate a man and his checkbook. Taking on more payment's definately will not be cheaper in the long run.
Is your sentimental value on the car wearing out? Or are you simply irritated about the issues that arise?

Is anybody else's door window moldings cracking and/or coming off? Other than that, I've had zero problems. Knock on wood.

No cracks in my moldings, I wax everything to prevent the UV damage, and even wax the headlights to prevent hazing.

That's right, I wax my lights and not once have I had to rub the haze off them. It's all about UV protection baby!

Pretty. You don't wanna see mine. But Idaho winters are a lot different than in Cali.

Your lights don't look to bad, hard to tell with the glare. Maybe a little around the edges.

That's AFTER a headlight restore kit. And they still are far from pretty/new looking.

As you know, our summers get hot here and cars take a beating if not taken care of. Every once in a while someone will comment on my lights and ask if their brand new, I say nope, just well taken care of.

For your window molding, you said it starting cracking. Use interior plastic products (Armor All, Meguiar's Ultimate) on your black molding to prevent cracking, as most interior products have UV protection.

This is my favorite product from Meguiar's, the shine last for months and has excellent UV protection.
