Default Got to love foggy days

Actual no, I hate driving in fog. The other day was the beginning of our heavy fog season. Some you guys get snow during the winter or rain, we get heavy fog. Then for about a month, usually in January, we barely see the sun. We'll have heavy fog in the mornings, then by late morning it lifts to create high densy fog which looks like overcast. Forget about driving at night, it's almost impossible to see 10 feet in front of your car on those nights.

This pic is a mild foggy day.

Yikes!

Fog is definitely bad-Juju. Stay safe out there!

Whoa! Twilight Zone!

We rarely get fog out here.

I still remember the days when we used to live outside Cinncinnati, and the snow blizzards were terrible. You still get snow storms out there by you?

NE-Ohio is in the snow-belt - aka "Rust Belt." That rusted-out car whose bumper is always falling off, in the movie Cars? That's an Ohio plate on there.

NE-Ohio actually has what's called the primary and secondary Lake Effect snow belts. The primary is where Lake Effect snow really pounds on the inches. We live sorta in-between the primary and secondary belts, so it's highly variable.

This year, we've barely gotten much snow at all.

The year my daughter was born, wow!

Let's put it this way - I run two sets of winter tires. From about late-October to December, I run "Performance Winters." From mid-December (this year, January ) to mid-February or so, I run a studded set. I then switch back to "Performance Winters" until about late April or even Mother's Day weekend.

Damn that's a lot of tire changing, and not to say a lot of money invested in tires. Thankfully I only have to change my tires every 2 years.

Just install new fog lights. Crappy pic, but the bulbs are 3000k bright yellow.
