Factory Alarm issues
Ok I know this is going to sound a bit strange, But last week I went to a local tire place to have my tires rotated and balanced , No problem there. All was complete in about 20 min GREAT. Ok now heres the problem when I push the button on the remote to lock the doors I get no chirp back just the lights flashing at me HMMMMMM. I know when i took my car there they worked just fine, but heres the second problem , If i open the door to get out the lock the door with the door lock and shut the door I get the chirp, If I leave the door open and hit the remote I get the 5 chirps telling me that a door is open .WHAT GIVES I looked in the book to see if i was in vallet mode , Nope standard mode called the dealer they want like $180 just to look at it. Please help I miss my chirpin

Have you tried to disconnect the battery and see if that would reset the alarm system?

Try this....
Factory OEM alarm reset Putting the key in the drivers side door lock, turning to the left, then to the right all the way will unlock and disarm/reset the "OEM factory" alarm system. |

Factory alarm issues
Dookie . I have figured it out. If you hold the lock and unlock buttons on the remote at the same time, it activates “stealth” mode. So once activated the lights flash when you lock the doors but no beep. To remove simple hold the two buttons again and open the door.

Yep. If you open the drivers door and press lock and unlock button on the fob for atleast 2 seconds it will change the audible beep.

Look at the back side of your key fob alarm switch - there are instructions there.
