Default Scoobydoobie's 05' LGT

Purchased back in Dec. of 07' with 19K miles on it. Around 36K on it now.
05' LGT sedan un-limited, 5EAT, ABP. It replaced my previous subie, which was a fairly highly modded 99' Forester (pics later).

If anyone cares to check out my detailed, step by step journal with tons of pics, it is located here: http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulle...ies-lgt-30050/

Modifications:
Powertrain:
Cobb catted DP (and Cobb turbo heat shield)
Grimmspeed UP (coated and wrapped)
Grimmspeed crossover pipe (coated and wrapped)
Grimmspeed PnP exhaust manifold (coated)
AVO TMIC
AEM CAI
Cobb APv.2 (Infamous1 tune)
TruCool 4452 transmission cooler

Handling:
Rallitek 19mm RSB
Kartboy endlinks
17 x 7.5 bronze Rota SDRs
225/45/17 Bridgestone Potenza PP RE960s (full size spare in trunk)
Hawk HPS pads all around

Exterior
35% Llumar window tint
Jinsu stacked oval smoked taillight overlays
Jinsu front corner smoked overlays
painted stock grill Satin black
JDM rain visors
de-badged trunk
RavSpec front lip

Interior
Casopolis delrin AT shift knob
AEM digital boost gauge

Have now and need time to install:

Perrin lightweight crank pulley
TruCool 4452 transmission cooler
Rallitek 5EAT transmission mount bushing
MOMO AT shift knob (in case I want to mix it up a little)
Cobb HD RSB mounts
JDM legacy wagon Pink springs
AEM digital boost gauge
Custom magnaflow axlebacks w/S2000 tips

In the future:

Bilsteins & Spec B. top hats (to go with the pinks)
Protune!
IPT VB
07+ legacy rear seat conversion (for teh fold down rear seats)
Front lip - ordered from D2 on lgt.com back in June... still waiting for VK to fix the situation
Further upgraded brakes when the time comes
Maybe some stereo/interior bits

then... I'm done! (yeah right!

BTW, if y'all do have a spare moment, I do recommend his journal over on SF.org - it's really interesting watching how everything comes about, step-by-step. I wish I had enough time and patience to document everything like that.

Trust me, I've already thought about it and I haven't gotten my stage 2+ setup protuned yet. That is a lot of money that I don't have too, (by the time I buy new turbo/FP/Injectors/possibly FMIC depending on the turbo, tune), I will be dead broke . Though I am watching the "Bolt-on turbocharger" thread on lgt.com like a hawk...

Hah, thanks bud! Shopping used FTW! There's no way I'd have nearly this amount of mods on the car in less than 2 years if I'd bought everything new. All the powertrain parts were bought used for a fraction of what they'd cost if I bought them from a vendor.

and a new update already... installed the custom exhaust cans this past Sunday. They are 14" magnaflow mufflers w/S2000 tips. I was skeptical when I received them, but am more than happy with the fit/look/sound.

and a couple sound clips. Sorry not the best quality. First one was taken with my friends iphone, and the second one with my point-n-shoot (a little too close to the exhaust, can hear the mic popping)

Thought I'd update this since I've done a few more things to it since I last posted.

Installed a TruCool 4452 transmission cooler:

and an AEM digital boost gauge that was ghetto-rigged like this for a few weeks :

then received my nyrm98 replacement A-pillar w/pod:

Also added a RavSpec PU front lip:

Also switched from a Tuning Alliance e-tune, and got tuned by Infamous1. Very happy with the results.

Next up, OEM hitch, suspension, and FMIC

Will update the modlist and mileage in the OP

+3% 4 PayPal.

On a sadder note. If u get a rattling sound near your turbo, its prolly your Cobb heatshield. Mine cracked and many

more b4 and since. I got the SPT and no problems.

No thanks man. Won't be upgrading the turbo for a while, but will likely go with a BNR 16G or 18G when I do.

nice man, any chance you have taken your subi 2 the 1/4?.

What made you want 2 spend your money on a transmision cooler instead of something else? Just curious havent seen 2 many transcoolers

Also where did you get your pillar, i need 2 get a a/f gadge going (yours looks very "stock" in a way just looks like it came from the factory like that)

Nah, never ran it at a track. Never even launched it.

Transmission cooler because the car is a 5EAT and people recommend it to keep tranny temps down. Was less than $50 delivered.

Sent my stock pillar to this guy: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea...&highlight=pod

He can make single, double and triple gauge pods (as well as cubby pods).

Nice ride....

Later down the road I want to do some engine mods to mine. Probably a Cobb excess port and a Cobb downpipe. Who know?
