Wow there A-Dave, that is an impressive looking machine. I'm thinking I'll have to start robbing banks too or whatever it is you're doing to be able to afford all that gear! This guy is jealous.

Also, as a side note, I have a good friend we call Asian Dave, or A-Dave, and I am imagining you are pretty much his Aussie cousin in the way that the Stig on top gear has various nationality cousins.

Wah?! This sounds like some type of A-Dave conspiracy! I'll have to keep my eye on you shifty lot.

On a less off-topic note, I'm interested how you find the handling of a Forester vs. the Legacy, being what I would have to assume is a lot more top heavy. I have a friend with a Forester that is bone stock. It's suspension is obviously not designed so much for street performance, where yours has been lowered, etc. Does it corner like a minivan by comparison?

The difference between my old Liberty and the Forester is significant. The Forester is build using the same platform as the Impreza to start with and so many of the same suspension parts used to make a WRX handle better have been applied to the Forester as well. The Liberty has sway bars, bilsteins and some progressive lowering springs, a nice set up but certainly not the best or stiffest. The Forester on the other hand has the following suspension mods and some significant time and expertise imparted by my wheel alignment guy to get low and retain good handling. The Forester handles like it is on rails.

STi Flexible Tower Brace
STi Front Support Kit
Cusco Steering Rack Brace
Cusco Rear OS Strut Brace
HSD HR Coilovers
Whiteline HD RSB
Whiteline HD Links
Whiteline Roll Centre Kit KCA313
Whiteline Anti Lift/ Caster Kit KCA334

Its taken me a little while but I finally managed to source a couple shift trim pieces to complete my 6mt sti interior install. I am really happy with the way everything looks and performs. My mods for the car are now done and the plan is to now raise the height a bit, switch over to my 17 x 7 sti rims and get it out to the RAC skidpan for a couple of sundays in July.

RAC skidpan was great fun yesterday. Only 9 of us fronted and we got bulk runs on several different configurations over 4 hours. The sound is pretty average on videos because I left the drivers window down. The Foz handles great with DCCDPro running the show with ABS & Traction Control off..plenty of grip achieved and I got pretty good by the end of the day after getting used to the power the TD05-18G produces and the way the 6MT DCCD box performs. Brembos and Project Mu pads worked very well and did not have braking issues at all. I ended up running my 19" rims with S Drives. I did manage to but a couple of flat spots on my S Drive tyres though dohhh. Next time I am going to run and film with the windows up.

Update is I sold my 17" sti rims and bought a set of 18 x 8.5 +44 Ultrex Vyper Rims and wrapped them in Advan Neova AD08 rubber. I will be using these for track and skidpan days (tomorrow) and keep the Oz Racing 19's for show.
These tyres are super sticky for a street tyre.

Default Looking great.

I run Nitto Invo's as my summer tires and those babies are like glue on the road. As I have had surgery I am not allowed to drive my Subaru for the next three months. Sucks as I have a really nice wheel/tire set up that I have yet to utilize...

I had some more dyno tuning done to the Forester last week to improve the throttle response but keeping the boost 18 psi for now. The results being 290 HP and I big grin on my face.
