I do also, but I'm not sure of their quality, I've never heard of them before

Don't know either, but should be safe for day-to-day driving.

My general take.....

It's light.
It's cheap.
It's durable.

Pick only two.

My Prodrives were not cheap, but they're relatively light and pretty durable.

My el-cheapo ASAs were, well, pretty cheap (Tire Rack "generic issue" for winter rims) and have been plenty durable, but they're definitely not light. They're on their 5th NE-Ohio winter now..

My el-cheapo Sparcos were, again, cheap, but again, they're not light. So far, they've proven themselves durable enough: since the winter of 2010-11, they've been my "deep winter" set, paired with a set of studded Pirellis.

Like I said, pick any two.

^ that's a fair take ..... I'm not looking for super cheap, nor super expensive ... durable is important ... like weight track wheels are not what I need either, but nor do I want 4 steel wheels .... I'll keep looking and see what I come up with ... it's winter time anyway so it's not like I would be running them

Not much luck, I'm afraid. Aside from your own threads, there was this one I thought was interesting (via searching on LGT.com, using "MSR" as the search term, specifying for the "Wheels and Tires" sub-Forum):

http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea...&highlight=MSR

I've heard of very few instances of AE wheels failing. I'd say that Dookie is, as-usual, spot-on in his assessment that they should be just fine for the daily-driver, and that as one responder on your LGT.com thread said, they're pretty much going to be like Rotas or other such "knock off" rims.

Aesthetically, I think you'll have to go with your own tastes.

For me, the BMs look more substantial/massive than the BL, so I tend to like to see more substantial rims on them, like the TSW you pictured above. However, at the same time, I must also admit to having really admired the way several BMs with "lighter" (more "airy" spokes) wheels turned out on .com .

^ Oops, sorry!

The BM-platform is the current, 5th-generation. The Outback here in the US is the BR.

The 4th Generation was the BL/BP (sedan/wagon, respectively).
