I know some people in Greensboro. I/ve been told it can be a rather boring town, compared to Atlanta, but that's just hearsay. The company I work for has a client there, so several of my workmates have been there a few times.

It's probably a good place to raise a family.

We have crapped all over every other thread in this place, I just fugured we could leave one alone, untouched by our useless and constant banter.

Well in that case this thread has nothing to do with Greensboro, NC, unless that is "Where Everyone Is At"..

But one thing you can't do is take your thread and go home. We won't let you, cuz we're having too much fun with it!

Just to put the thread back on track: I'm in Atlanta, Georgia. Are there any Legacy gatherings down this way? I know there are many Impreza gatherings around here, but don't hear of Legacy get-togethers.

I don't know about your area, but in my area there are no Legacy gatherings. It is more of a Subaru gathering. It is mostly Imprezas but I always show up and they welcome me. All I can say is that if you can't find any Legacy meets, make friends with some STIs

I went to a Subaru meet at Perry Subaru in Virginia Beach yesturday and there were 108 Subarus there and over 200 people.....of that 108 7 of us were Legacy's......so I hope there are more out your way

Make friends with some STIs? I wouldn't want to embarass them. With my AccessPort Stage II I've got as much (or more) hp and substantially more torque. They would feel inferior. I wouldn't want to put those poor STI drivers through such grief. Their egos might not be able to handle that!

Just kidding. I've looked up a couple of Impreza meets, but my schedule just didn't match up with theirs at the time. I'll get to one eventually.

I'm glad to hear you had such a good turnout at Perry Subaru.

I am in Parker, a suburb of Denver, and we have 4 different forums that have regional areas, or are regional forums, that have lots of meets. Over on .com we arrange about a meet a quarter, and then there are several all wheel drive forum meets throughout the year too.

If you can, when you go to these meets, if there are Leggys there, tell them about org. That's how I found out about it. No one ever mentions it on .com for fear of being banned!

I forget who, but somebody on .com mentioned .org. That's how I found out about it. It may have been a post about someone getting banned on .com and moving to .org. I don't recall the details, as it's been a few months ago, and I've slept since then.

I'll try to spread the word a little about .org. We could use a few more people...
