235/40 tires on 18x9 +35?
Seeing if this setup would, first, not rub on stock struts, and second, if it would be aggressive looking as in tires sticking out past the fenders.
Thanks. |

On a 9.0" rim a +43 offset will be the closest possible offset to the OEM scrub radius. You will need to roll the fenders if tires are wider than 255.

If you plan on ever lowering your car I would strongly suggest 225/40.
I have 18x8.75 +35 wheels and rubbed like crazy with my 235s. I only had them a day and I went back and exchanged them for 225s. If you never plan on lowering than you will have no problems at all. |
