Muffler Tuck Mod
Big shout-out to SubieTrader on .com for his idea of tucking the rear mufflers up closer to the bumper.
His way of tucking was using hose clamps and tightening them around the muffler hangers, while using a jack to position the mufflers. I tried this route but couldn't get mine high enough, plus my cheap hose clamps kept breaking. My way was disconnecting the mufflers completely off the car, there's front and rear hangers on the muffler, then sliding them in the middle of the hangers. Then reconnecting the mufflers to the exhaust pipes. BEFORE:  AFTER:  BEFORE:  AFTER:  It looks a lot better seeing them flush than seeing them hang. |
