Rookie move.
Last night I checked my oil level and notice it was a little low. So, I reached for my oil container and started pouring it in. All of a sudden I notice the oil was pouring like water with a slight tint green to it. Pulled it back and took a good sniff of the stuff. OH , I grabbed the wrong oil container. The container I grabbed was the one I put my used coolant in. I poured about 1/2 a quart of used coolant into the oil pan.
It was late last night and none of the stores were open, so I had to ask the my lady to take me to work today until I had time to buy a flush and new oil. Couldn't of manage what would have happen if I drove to work today with smoke pouring out of my exhaust. Lessen learned, place all USED fluids on the oppisite side of the garage. |

All fixed. Nice thing about the coolant is it's heavier than oil, so when I pulled the plug most of the coolant came out first. Re-plugged and added 1 quart of 0w-20 (it's thin and helps to flush out the old stuff in the oil pan), let it sit for 5 mins, then drained. Added fresh new oil and all good again.

Rookie move or Dookie move? Glad to hear it was an easy fix.
