I thought Bremblos were expensive. I'd h8 2 see the MSRP on those.

Looks more like a 1/2 clutch system. Look in the background you'll see ACT, maybe they have something to do with it.

Looks like it says "Evolve" on the caliper. They're the Volvo tuner.

FTL! Imagine how much those calipers weigh. Imagine how much the mounting bracket weighs.

I did a quick search to see if I could find out more about this particular set of brakes (thinking that, just perhpas since it's a show-piece, it may actually be really, really light, and actually offer stunning performance, to-boot)....

I was rather surprised (given that I'm not a Volvo guy) that the Volvo tuners really don't hold the EVOLVE tuning-house in very high esteem, at all.

Apparently, this particular car wasn't even able to make it into the showroom under its own power, and there were many enthusiast complaints about the lack of actual functional products from EVOLVE.

Gee, I wonder why? Maybe a 4 or 6 piston brake would be cool... But that's retarded.

^ It's not just about the brakes - from what little I read, it seemed that their displeasure at EVOLVE started well *before* these brakes had been introduced as a showpiece.

I figured. I also deduced that these brakes are par for the course of what they make.
