Default Fresno's 1st Big Subie Event

This past weekend I attended the Fresno's (Central Cal) Subie Event. This was the largest Subie event ever held in Central Cal, the main focus was to bring SoCal and Norcal Subie clubs together and have 1 big event. We had roughly over 35 + Subie's, most of them were WRX's except for 1 LGT (that's me). The goal for next year is to double in size with the help from local sponsors and promotors. Here's just a few pics, I'll try to post more later.

Wow! is right. I've seen more SVXs in a meet here in PA, than total Subies there in Cali and that's the largest all-Subie meet in Central Cali.

Let me point out that Fresno does not have a huge Subie group, you'll mostly see Hondas and Acuras on the streets. There was going to be at least 3 other LGTs, but they decided to not show. Some of the other LGTers have sold there cars and moved on, so there's not a small group of us anymore.

There was going to be another 12 Subies coming down from Sacramento, but something happen on the way down and they had to turn back around. Overall, it wasn't a bad turn out for our 1st all Subie event, considering it was all word of mouth and forum postings.

Next year they plan on sponorships and better marketing.

Here's a short video of the cars, notice my car received a lot of looks since I was the only LGT there.

And no, that's not me with the camera, that was the event host.
